WASHINGTON – U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood today commended Ohio Governor John Kasich for signing a new law that prohibits text messaging while driving.
“I commend Governor Kasich and the Ohio legislature for taking an important stand against the dangers of texting while driving today,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. “While this new law will help keep all drivers safe, we are especially encouraged by its focus on young drivers, who are more likely to engage in distracted driving.”
Ohio becomes the 39th state to prohibit texting behind the wheel by all drivers. The law takes effect 90 days after signing and warnings will be issued to offenders for the first six months. After that period, texting will become a secondary offense for adults and a primary offense for those under age 18. Adult violators will face a fine of up to $150. Teens who violate the law will be subjected to a $150 fine and have their license suspended for 60 days. Teens who are repeat offenders will be fined $300 and have their license suspended for a year.
Ohio and 38 other states, the District of Columbia, Guam and the Virgin Islands ban text messaging by all drivers. Ten states, the District of Columbia, Guam and the Virgin Islands prohibit all hand-held cell phone use while driving.
“We are making a difference in the fight against distracted driving through a combination of good laws, tough and consistent enforcement, and extensive public education,” said David Strickland, Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. “Ohio is sending a strong message that it wants its young drivers to be distraction free.”
In 2009, Secretary LaHood launched a national anti-distracted driving campaign to combat the growing trend of dangerous distracted driving behavior in America. To help further raise awareness, the U.S. DOT also launched Distraction.gov, a dedicated website that provides the public with a comprehensive source of information on distracted driving.
The Department has also hosted two national summits devoted to the issue, crafted sample legislation, which states can use to adopt distracted driving laws, issued several rulemakings banning texting while operating commercial vehicles and limiting the use of handheld cell phones, and initiated pilot law enforcement programs in Hartford, CT, and Syracuse, NY, modeled after the Department’s successful efforts to increase seatbelt use and curb drunk driving. Ohio, became the 39th State to write and pass legislation to make it illegal to text while driving today with Gov. John Kasich’s signing ceremony. As dangerous as texting and driving may be, what many fail to see, is that many states already have laws on the books to cover these actions. The law is usually called driving while distracted. This law is a primary offense, which means you can be pulled over for only being caught breaking it. It is not secondary, which means the cops would first need to pull you over for something else, ie. speeding, and then slap you with a ticket for driving while distracted.

This is nothing more than political smoke and mirrors. It’s a feel good bill. If driving while distracted already makes it illegal to drive while reading, drive while eating, drive while putting makeup on, drive while arguing with passengers, and etc. etc. Why the sudden need for the bill? Nothing more that PC political correctness run amok and political self-preservation. That is the sad truth of this issue. Politicians take something that the media has blown up into a huge social issue, and then get to work passing laws!  You know, to look busy, for the constituents. They stand up on their soap boxes and pound their chest and shout, “it’s a crisis” and “young people are dying!” “We must do something!” “We need to pass a bill banning this action!”.  All the while, there already exists a law that cops can already use to perform a traffic stop, driving while distracted. WE ARE BEING SCAMMED by WEASEL POLITICIANS! How much money do you think these states have spent writing, voting on, performing demographics and traffic studies, just to pass REDUNDANT legislation? I would venture to say it’s in the millions of dollars. There really is nothing more deceiving than pretending to stand up for the people and convincing many into believing they are really “working” for you, the constituent. It’s a fantasy, they’ve concocted in their heads. Now they all will run around congratulating each other by patting one another on the backs and bottoms. And they just keep getting away with the deceptions, because no one will call them on the carpet on it! Its high time someone stood up and called Bu** sh**!

The most egregious part of the bill is this, what about the cops? Does this apply to them also? I have personally witnessed patrol officers scrolling on their laptops, typing and reading while driving, actually texting on their phone,  can any one say hypocrite?

Lord Help Us. They’re just gonna keep finding social / political reasons to legislate idiocy and we are the guinea pigs!

More Breast Feeding Pics, Really?

No, I don’t feel comfortable posting the picture of these two military moms in what appears to be an “impromptu” picture taken in their military uniforms. I find it to be distasteful. So I chose this cute kitten.

First we had the “Republican war on women” so-called. Then we had the counter to that fake war, the cover of time magazine with what seemed to be a “teenager” breast feeding on a stool. And this picture was on a grocery store news stand periodical, Time Magazine. Elizabeth Warren (D) candidate for US Senate from Mass. now claims she was the first nursing mother that took the Bar exam in New Jersey. (Elizabeth Warren of 1/32 Cherokee fame) And now two military moms in a “breast feeding” promotional picture that is more softcore porn than a celebration of breast feeding. I understand a kids gotta eat, but don’t they make pumps and bottles anymore?

Stop the world, I need off for a while. Geesh!

Kirk Cameron’s Monumental Movie Project

Super Powers have risen and fallen. History has shown all nations go through times that are good and bad. The nations who were able to correct their course before they went off a cliff are far and few between. In order to restore any nation you have to diagnose when or where that nation started to “go off the tracks”. Kirk Cameron, father of 6 children and outspoken Christian has been working on a documentary project called “Monumental”. In the documentary he traces Americas roots all the way back to our beginnings. Not 1776, but hundreds of years earlier, into other nations, to our origins where the dream of America started.

I love the movie “Gladiator” with Russell Crowe. I especially love the quote that Ceaser, Marcus Aurelius said to Maximus, “there once was a dream that was Rome, you could only whisper it, anything more and it would vanish.” He was speaking to how fragile the nation was. Many of us who are conservative understand the same about our freedoms. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, freedom is not an inheritance, it has to be worked toward and for. Each generation has to toe the line.

The DVD of “Monumental” can be purchased on the Monumental Movie website. At $15.00, it is a steal, considering it costs (for two) $35.00-45.00 currently to watch a movie in a theatre.

When an awkwardly tall and lanky man who was born in Kentucky and now lived in Illinois, attempted to run for public office for the first time, I bet no one gave him a lot of attention or even a second thought. I certainly bet no one thought that one day he would rise to the highest office in the land and that he would be an agent of change, for the betterment of our Union. The man of course, was Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican President. The Republican party started as a smaller, grass-roots, third-party, as an anti-slavery party in 1854. This is where we are in our political climate. We are witnessing a revival of common sense politics in our nation, all I can say is, it’s about time!

When the Tea Party (Taxed Enough Already) emerged on the scene, a lot of media types discounted them as right-wing crazies, it was largely dismissed as a bunch of angry white people, who were only protesting spending because president Obama was black. That’s right, the media automatically pulled the race card from the deck of tricks they have. They completely ignored the massive, unsustainable Federal spending that had swept in with Obama’s presidency. Then the media tried its very level best to paint the tea party as dangerous, home-grown terroristic, Timothy McVeigh types, who were seditious and anti-American. This only steeled over the resolve of the people who considered themselves part of the tea party movement, imagine, being called a sexual name and innuendo by the President of the United States because he disagreed with you and sound fiscal policy. Imagine being marginalized for something that our grandparents thought was normal, you don’t spend more than you have or make. Were giving away our national sovereignty by running deficits we can’t pay.

When the media raged at the Tea Party for being dangerous to the nation, what they really meant was, the Tea Party was dangerous to liberal progressives, and tax, spend, borrow, and tax again policies. However, a funny thing happened on the way to Washington D.C., the Tea Party hung up their Americana costumes and picked up their clip boards, telephones, and started organizing into an actual political action group and teaming up with other pro-freedom, low tax organizations such as FreedomWorks.org. As the Tea Party is gaining steam, the liberal media has had a sharp drop in following and tv ratings. You can really tell when the media is scared to death, they begin searching for stories they can spin into their self-serving narratives. I recently read a story on the Daily Caller that was titled “Tea party petering out in South Carolina?” Its premise was so obvious, try to beat up the Tea Party before some extremely important primary elections in Wisconsin, with Scott Walker (R), In Indiana, With Dick Lugar (R), and Richard Mourdock (R), and out in Utah with Orrin Hatch (R). Now, with Lugar voted out in his primary by 20 points, and Scott Walker (R) voted to stay in office, the media is beside itself. (By the way, Scott Walker didn’t need a single vote to win today, he was unopposed, but he received roughly 70,000 votes more than the two Democrats running against him combined. Wisconsin had a huge conservative voter turn out.) North Carolina passed amendment one, defining marriage as a legal union between one man and one woman and this also would be the only recognized marriage in NC. Now all eyes are on the primary in Utah, to see if Orrin Hatch can win his primary, he is challenged by Tea Party favorite, former Utah State Senator Dan Liljenquist. Needless to say, after todays conservative landslide, Obama’s really got to be wondering what his next political steps are. (A year ago the media said these things were impossible.) The so-called ”war on women” he tried to spin as being a Republican problem, has back fired on him. Today he flip-flopped on the Gay marriage issue, his campaign is stinking of desperation. He was for it in ’96, then against it in ’08 and now he’s for it in ’12.

When your political opponents are grasping at straws, you know, that they know, they are in big trouble! Liberals are in a frenzy now, they are watching their religion, “Liberalism” take it on the chin, hard! One can only hope that the media keeps discounting the Tea Party and that the Occupy movement keeps crapping on cop cars and door steps. While their wasting their time begging for lattes’ and for electricity to charge their ipads, conservatives are sweeping into public office, and getting ready to turn this ship around.

Obama admits he is Muslim: What a Man Believes, Shapes His Worldview

Let me begin by saying, I know the US Constitution bars a religious litmus test for all those who would seek to hold public office, and I am in agreement with it. The above video should not be viewed in a Constitutional context. It should however be viewed and reviewed in a context of how a man’s words either shed light, or darkness on his character. In this highly charged, political, election year climate, you will hear a ton more on the faith (Mormonism) of the Republican (almost) nominee, Mitt Romney by the main stream media. In contrast, you will see the media elite try to deflect for Obama, any question that remotely challenges him, his policies, and his faith. Mr. Obama has stated on numerous occasions that he is a Christian, and Jerimiah Wright had led him to Christ, married he and his wife Michelle, and also baptized his daughters Sasha and Malia. (Although Jerimiah preaches black liberation theology). Either Obama is a Christian, or he is a Muslim, there is no middle ground. He can’t have it both ways. Although if you study his actions he tries his absolute best to play the politically correct answers all the time.

Mr. Obama, is the closest our nation has ever come to being ruled by a foreign dictator, thats not hyperbole, many would agree with that statement. So, why does it feel this way?

Because what a man believes, forms all his policies, forms his world view, and forms his moral foundation. After watching the video, ponder the verse of Scripture under it, and ask yourself, what are Barack Obama’s fruits? I would list all the pro-muslim actions he’s taken, but the video does an excellent job outlining them. Something else to remember while watching the video, in Islam, it is perfectly okay to lie about anything, as long as you are ultimately promoting the Muslim faith. And yes, this video has been out for a while, however it never hurts to do a refresher every now and again. Because Sharia Law is not freedom compliant!

Governments; and the Individual

Can an Individual; act as governments do; and still prosper?

Financial (basic) – As an individual, say you were to venture out for a day to buy some items. Lets just say for the ease of discussions sake, you start with a $100.00, you find a “widget” that you would like to buy. This particular widget is $140.00. So you take $100.00 that you have and print $20.00 and borrow $20.00 (from a person who may be your enemy [China]) to make up the difference. You buy the widget, now you own it. What no one knows is you will have to print the other $20.00 at some point to pay back the loan you borrowed. So essentially you printed $40.00. And still yet, what no one else knows is that you have a slight debt and credibility problem, it seems that other purchases that you have made were on credit also, to the total of $104.00, so you’re actually at a debt to income ratio of 105%, but don’t worry, you collect $100.00 annually. Next year, you can print another $20.00 and “borrow” another $20.00 just to stay afloat. But, in the new year, you decide there is some more “maintenance” spending that needs done, so you start with $100.00 you print $35.00 and borrow $35.00. You just magically increased your debt limit. You still are going to have to print $35.00, just to pay the new debt, things are tough, that’s why you only start with $100.00.
So by the third year, you are paying the minimum payments on your debt and running behind on printing money not worth the paper it’s printed on, wait, just ask some neighbors to help out, after all it’s the good-hearted thing to do, you should collect taxes, or duties, levies, just pick a name.

Taxes – You vote in a Progressive levy of 55%, 65%, and 85%, because you feel this amount requires all (when I say “all” I mean those who make an obscene amount) to pay what you consider a “fair share”. So arbitrarily, you begin reaping what others have sown, don’t worry its good for everybody, It’s about the collective. So as your bank account swells, you begin to pay off your debt, NOT, in your financial drunkenness you find three new projects to fund, and by the way, you not only didn’t pay off the entire debt you owed, you borrowed and printed another $300.00, loaned an obscene amount of money to your solar energy friends, after all the revenue is coming in like gangbusters now, and since your creditors will still loan, you might as well get that money now, you can “always pay it off tomorrow”.

Charity – So now that you have built an economic worthless paper money power house, you should find those who are down trodden, and start a war on poverty, after all if you help them, at some point you may be able to call in a favor later (they may be able to keep you in power). So your bank account continues to swell, and you perpetuate a permanent underclass with your redistributed wealth, you give food cards to those without, pay those who won’t work, pay for daycare for those in your country illegally, keep comfortable those who would work, but it’s so tempting not to, especially since the checks just keep coming, pay for therapy, healthcare, funerals, births, psych services, what ever your imagination holds, remember it’s for the greater good.

Personal liberty – Now that you have acquired a certain amount of power, some people, we’ll call them skeptics, have said your policies don’t work, and they’re being critical of your economic plans. They say you’re pulling money from your right pocket to pay your left pocket back. You must squelch that fast, so your only option is to begin passing rules against their complaining, marginalize them, criminalize them, jail them, monitor and shut down their internet communications, tell the media that your skeptics are ignorant, uneducated, out of the loop, crazy, and just plain wrong. you separate them, disparage their good names, wage an all out war on them.

Business – When you want to branch out, this is easy. You find a business in need of capital, it really doesn’t even matter if they need the money or not, all you have to do is sell them the loan package, and when they can’t pay it back, that business needs bailed out, it’s too big to fail. Now, all you have to do is multiply this program and business by as many as you want, remember the money you loaned was worth less, so what did you really pay? Thats a bargain.

As insane as it sounds, this is how Federal, State, and Local governments operate every day! If an individual were to do just 1% of any of the above scenario’s, the Government would lock them up and throw away the key, and we would all cheer that decision on, as we should, but when our Government has grown so out of control, we turn a blind eye. What is the answer to this madness? What the answer has always been. A return to moral’s. A return to Biblical principles, that produce a rock solid family, sound fiscal policy, a strong national defense, sane legislation, a nation of laws and not of men. Our answer is found in the parable of the prodigal son:

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

We as a nation, used to be the son who stayed home, saved up for a rainy day, we knew that we were not guaranteed tomorrow, we stayed close to our Heavenly Father and his undeserved blessings and mercy. But along our path as a nation we decided to borrow from our future like the son that spent all his substance on riotous living. [Luke 15:13]. After all that’s what he really did, stole from his future for pleasures of the here and now. (Sound familiar)? Some today say it’s perfectly ok to spend our way out of debt, that is antithetical to sound, Biblical morality (not to mention common sense). Here’s a small economic lesson for liberal progressives, If I have 5 sand dollars, and someone else has 5 sand dollars, And yet still, someone stamps out 500 sand dollars out of sand and volcano ash, and they dump them into the same market as the ten (real) sand dollars, as long as everyone accepts the created currency, my 5 sand dollars just lost roughly 99% of their buying power. When the market is flooded with worthless money, it drives up prices (inflation).  This is what happens to our economy every time the U.S. Government, prints or digitizes our money, we the consumers lose! Don’t let no one tell you, you can separate morality and money, it is not possible.

In Luke 15:14; just one short verse later a crisis hit, how many say we are in an economic crisis right now. Unemployment is dangerously high it (U6 number) is roughly 12-13%  Now mind you this is only one verse after he spent all his substance, notice the Bible says he was broke, he had $0.00. Unlike us as a nation we have -$15,703,694,600,000.00 yes that’s a negative in front 14 digit number. Thats right, the Prodigal son was richer than we are now.

In Luke 15:15 the son became dependant on the foreigner for his substance. Just look how intertwined and interdependent on foreign nations we have become. Other countries have invested in our stocks, money, businesses, just like the Bible says we would be after leaving sound Godly principles. George Washington warned us of becoming to interdependent on foreign nations in his farewell address, and told us to beware of alliances.

In Luke 15:17 the prodigal son has an epiphany, I’m starving! Just look how many hired servants my Father has, if I could just eat the crumbs that fall from their table! If we could just get back to being thankful for Gods bountiful blessings and ask Him to steer us back to even just the place of our feasting on the crumbs from the Fathers table for our country, In Him is every need met!

In verses 18 and 19 you see the sons true and genuine repentance, O’ that God would tarry his judgement just a while longer so we might have a chance to earnestly repent as a nation, in spirit and truth!

In Luke 15:20 we see that the Father must have already forgiven his son, It says as he went to his Father, his Father was looking for him, how long I wonder he’d stared at the horizon looking for his lost son?! The Father RAN to him! God is waiting on our nation today to turn from our sins and iniquities and walk back toward him. (You see the son asking for forgiveness, but you never here the father say I forgive you, he already had in his heart, that’s why he ran to his boy, and kissed his neck)

In Verse 22 the son is restored to his former glory, and lifted back to the status of Son!

I want to close with this: Our nation will be judged of God in the present, here and now. God has promised to judge us by every word we’ve uttered as individuals in the Great White Throne Judgement, but nations are judged in the present for their national sins, and judgement is measured out in the here and now, nations don’t get to spend eternity with God or seperated from God, individuals do.

National Symbols

What is in a symbol? More particularly, what is in a national symbol? After many years of trouble and toil, the Freedom Tower has ascended past the height of The Empire State building today, no, it’s not quite finished yet, but it’s on its way in the right direction, its completed height will be 1776 feet.

What does it mean for our nation to have this building erected on the Manhattan skyline reaching up toward the heavens?

Most can remember the day, a bright wonderful Tuesday morning, on the 11th of September, 2001. It is one of those events that you remember exactly where you were and what you were doing. I was grinding a chisel point on an electric grinder at the Goodyear Service Center that I worked at, when the owner barged through the shop door and said that a missile had hit the The World Trade Center. Later, of course we would find out the truth, we all stood in the showroom of that tire store and watched the second plane slam into the second tower, live on Good Morning America. Our mouths agape, anger and confusion in our hearts, who is responsible for this, we all wondered aloud. By the end of the day, thousands had lost their lives, there were victims mingled with heroes, and a plane in Pennsylvania had been taken back from the terrorists, but to no avail, it too would be lost along with all souls on board. We would find out soon that 19 Arab citizens from Saudi Arabia were the culprits, along with the terrorist organization Al’qaeda.

To build this new tower is a noble thing for all those who lived through the tragedy of that day, and I’m sure a majority of people will be sharing their excitement in the coming final years of construction. I want to show something else on this commemorative day, something you probably have not heard of, not seen, and probably do not understand. It is the Burj Khalifa. This is the tallest skyscraper in the world, designed and built by an American Company named SOM. It is interesting to note where it’s built and what its name was

before it was opened in 2010. It originally was called the Burj Dubai which translated means Dubai Tower and it was built in the United Arab Emirates. This is the jewel of the desert to the Arab people and “someone” thought it would be best if it was called the Burj Khalifa which translated is Caliphate Tower. Now most people have never heard the word Caliphate, unless you listen or watch Glenn Beck. The word Caliphate in Islam is the word for a Muslim super nation dedicated to spreading Islam as a one world religion composed of a bunch of smaller Islāmic states say like Iran, now Egypt, Tunisia, Libia etc. If you study the Bible or Biblical archeology, you may see a resemblance between the Burj Khalifa and the Tower of Babel of ancient times, they are very close, (of course not in height).

The graph above (represented in red) shows just how much taller this skyscraper is compared to the other towers. Now if you study sociology, you might start to see a bit of a contest emerging to place a stake on worlds tallest skyscraper. As I was researching for this article I stumbled upon the website for the Burj Khalifa and I seen a very interesting photo comparison much like the one above, but it was missing something….

It was missing all the other tallest skyscrapers. It only compared The Burj (Dubai) Khalifa and our Freedom Tower. Our World Trade Center Twin Towers once was the tallest skyscraper, we don’t do things half way, we are Americans, why would we build a skyscraper to be the third or fourth tallest in the world? Since when have Americans ever strived to be third? Now tell me, doesn’t that make you just a bit angry? Look at some of our other national symbols, the Space Shuttles, YF22 Fighter plane, Statue of Liberty, The Stealth fighter, Washington Monument, Aircraft carriers. The space shuttles already have been retired, and our manned space program has been effectively shut completely down by the current administration. We traded it for even more social spending, the administration also cancelled the contract to build the worlds most advanced fighter aircraft, the YF22, we only have what was built up to the point that Obama was inaugurated, these other symbols may not be far behind. After all, when our buildings are knocked down by citizens from another country, we don’t even try to build the new one back up to be the Tallest in the world any longer, and we don’t knock theirs down. God help our great nation!

Death Pangs of the Greatest Republic

When you see the absolute incompetence of this administration, you can’t help but to wonder, just how far up their rear ends are their heads?
I mean to say, how stupid do they think the American people are? In the article below, you will read the Department of the Interior’s assessment of Gas (energy) prices in our country and their future rates, and you will see the ineptness of Secretary Salazar is MONUMENTAL!

Politicians act like, books don’t exist, the internet doesn’t exist, and common sense has jumped the last plane out of the country, oh, wait, common sense wouldn’t have the money for a ticket, jet fuel prices being what they are, and even if common sense had the cash for a ticket,  the TSA would grope, molest, and violate its fourth amendment rights.

They act like information doesn’t exist. Information that absolutely debunks all their non theories. “We don’t know why energy prices are high”?

Here’s a lesson for them in free market economics.

If demand for a product is high, produce more of that particular product.

We now have (through new techniques) more oil and natural gas in our homeland than Saudi Arabia has or will ever have!

So, how bout it Fed’s, how about we have the kiddies at the EPA get their crayons out and draw for a while, and let the adults get to drilling and fracking !

Salazar: ‘No one knows’ if US headed to $9/gal gas

Department of Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said that “no one knows” if gasoline prices in the United States will reach $9 per gallon, and acknowledged that the possibility is outside his control.

“I don’t think anyone can speculate what will happen with respect to oil prices and gas prices because they are set on the global economy,” Salazar told reporters when asked if gas prices could reach $9 per gallon, as they have been in Greece. “Where it will all end, no one knows.

He explained that “what we see happening today are the influences first of unrest in places like the Middle East and Iran, which disrupt the markets and allow the futures markets to play on some of what they see [in] the unrest around the world; and secondly the huge demand that you’ve started seeing in places like China, India and Brazil.”

Salazar touted President Obama’s “all of the above” energy policy and the prospect of renewable energy, but warned that “we do not control the price of oil.”

This video, has to be the truest and most accurate documentary to show just how America has arrived at this place in her history.  This video accrued  300,000 hits in its first 2 to 3 days of being posted on YouTube. The video, produced by freemarketamerica.org, was made to contradict the extremist, leftist, environmentalist point of view. It was released to coincide with the Earth day “holiday”. It illustrates exactly how we’ve gotten to this current place of a stagnant economy. It is so true in fact, it only took one day for the Obama administration to lean on the people at Twitter, and have Free Market America’s Twitter page shut down.

In contrast, the @killzimmerman Twitter page, (of Trayvon Martin Fame) which had people tweeting and retweeting death threats toward George Zimmerman, took almost 3 weeks to shut down. By the way, that webpage was only shut down after Twitter decided to follow its own policy, not from anyone in the government. Currently this video is closing in on 600,000 hits, it has went viral. And there is a very good reason for that, it speaks the truth unapologetically.

“We the People” owe an apology to our Veterans of Foreign Wars

  In honor of Armed Forces Day Saturday May 19, 2012

  Just a little over thirty years ago, Ronald Reagan stood at his inauguration; placed his left hand on a Holy Bible, held his right hand in the air and recited his oath of office, promising to defend and uphold the ideas set forth in what is now a 224 year old document against all enemies: both foreign and domestic. In this U. S. Constitution: our form of Federal government and how it relates to State governments was laid out; and its charter was set. In its amendments — our freedoms are spelled out for all the world to see.

In the distant past our nation’s soldiers were revered and held in high regard. They were held up as heroes and role models, parents taught their kids to highly esteem their actions that kept an entire nation safe. However, in recent years, over the last 45 or so years, there has been a chill in the air when it comes to our military men and women. In fact — there is a chill in the air when it comes to a lot of truly American traditions anymore freedom of religion, speech, Christmas, Thanksgiving etc.

I began this composition by referring to Ronald Reagan, and for good reason. Reagan is the most recent president to really take an immovable stance on the rise and spread of communism. Reagan went so far as to describe the Soviet Union as an “Evil Empire” and he took a lot of pressure for that stance by the liberal progressive media for it. Reagan did not mince words, he did not speak politically correct, he said what he meant, and meant what he said. During his tenure in the White House he gave many speeches; but none probably more geo-politically important than his “Evil Empire” speech on March 8th 1983 to the National Association of Evangelicals in Orlando, Florida, and his “Tear down this wall” speech given at the Berlin Wall in front of the Brandenburg Gate on June 12th 1987.

Let’s speak about the Berlin wall for a moment. This wall erected by the communists in 1961 to stop people defecting from communism to capitalism. In all, 171 people were killed or died attempting to escape the communist eastern block by crossing the  Berlin Wall between August 13, 1961 and when it fell on November 9, 1989. Notice no one was killed trying to defect to communist rule.

Look how far we’ve progressed. Our system of capitalism has been perverted by those in government and high finance, banks; not to mention unions and some corporations. True; free market capitalism has been so shackled and regulated it is barely a shell of its former self. It is being slowly killed off, and for what end? For the very same people who created the crisis to say “you know old gray capitalism “was” ok for times past, but this is now, and that was then, we have a new “system” “.

Look at the amount of national blood and treasure [We the People] have spent on defeating and deterring Communism, Marxism, totalitarianism, and socialism in countries around the world. Just from 1945, at the end of WWII to modern-day the number of our brave soldiers killed in action is close to 100,000 and the dollar amounts are in the 100′s of billions.

We have fought in:

• Korea
• Vietnam
• Panama
• Grenada
• Persian Gulf
• Somalia
• Bosnia
• Lebanon
• Iran
• Lybia
• Honduras
• El Salvador
• Iraq now
• Afghanistan now
• Lybia again now
• Uganda now
• The list goes on and on and on!

We have done all of this, and for what? To have our politicians in charge now tell the American people that they stand with the Occupy Wall Street crowd? The re-run of the smelly, dope smoking hippies from the sixties that spit on our service men returning home from war; calling them baby killers. How ironic is it that the same crowd that attacked our troops for “killing babies” are now the very same people who uphold the “pro-choice” banner as a moral decision. All the while trying to compare themselves to the TEA Party, which by its fruits can be absolutely debunked. People at Tea Parties wave American flags in the air and hold them with pride, people at the Occupy (just insert name) defecate on the American flag and stand on them on the ground. No movements in history can be more drastically contrasted, yet the media is complicit with the lies of the hypocritical OWS protesters with all their amenities that were a product of the very same capitalism that they hate.

We have our professors at our universities teaching communist revolution openly in the classroom. Encouraging our young people to act seditiously against their own country. Giving extra credit in fact for protesting at the Occupy Wall Street protests. Many of the protests have had a anti-Semitic theme, which the media has, and continues to ignore.

Our government has “bailed out” multiple business’s. By bailing out these corporations the government has essentially nationalized those business’s. Not only that, by bailing out some, and not bailing out others, the government has also found a way to pick the winner in industry. In some cases the government even operates its very own for profit business’s now. These are all ideas that coincide with communism, not capitalism.

The elected officials in our system have essentially sold out the American people as sheep to the slaughter, while preparing themselves for the future collapse of our systems. The very same people who we have fought for 70 years (Commies) are now in charge of the greatest fighting force ever known to this world, ours. If our path does not change and change drastically back toward our founding principles, We will owe all who have fought and died fighting our nations wars a huge “I’m Sorry”; “I’m Sorry I didn’t question the government when they said, “you don’t need God, let us take care of you”, “you don’t need family, let us take care of you”, you don’t need your guns anymore, we have plenty to protect you”, “You don’t need a home, we will give you one”,”you don’t need healthcare, we will take care of you”,  ”don’t read that book, we will teach you”, ”you don’t need a job, we have one for you, we would like you to dig a ditch”, and the last noise you will hear is the cocking of their weapon at the back of your head once your hole is dug. Don’t doubt this scenario, it’s happened before! All over the world, where ever communism has reared its ugly head.

One of the malcontents down at Occupy Wall Street was a man who wanted to be a woman and claimed he was fired from his job for this same wish, he claimed his boss “hated” him. He was dressed in a chinese soldiers uniform, complete with hat and a 40 inch by 30 inch chinese flag. When I seen that, all I could think of is the visions I had of a young chinese protestor in 1989 in Tiananmen Square standing squarely in the path of a tank. If the man on wall street was protesting in communist china, they would have silenced him.

Recently Herman Cain won the Florida Republican straw poll, out of 2600 republican voters, Herman Cain drew 37% of the vote.  This was a tremendous boost to his presidential campaign! What type of personality, background or character does it take to get you “fired up” about supporting a candidate, republican, democrat or other third-party?

Should a persons religious beliefs be on trial before they are seriously considered for public office of any type?

Should a persons personal life be on display for all to see before they are seriously considered for public office?

Should a persons business dealings be investigated before they are seriously considered for public office?

What social issues do you want “your” candidate to be passionate about?

Do you want “your” candidate to be politically correct, or do you rather like a plain-spoken person?

How cozy do you want “your” candidate to be with foreign nations, who should he or she feel are our allies to garner your support?

Take the Presidential Poll
