Since it is a man eat man world out there, the folks at the Daily Caller are recommending a new, fresh and tasty cover theme to Newsweek “We Are All Cannibals Now”. And why shouldn’t they? I mean with all the people turning up dead and eaten, and all the other people turning up with mouthfuls of Jolla bad, and Tati wati, and Kali Kia liki Lou, Walla walla Bing bom (make up what ever name you want, as long as it sounds Kenyan…). And you know the question on the end of everyone’s tongue in this election year? Are the cannibals Democrat, or Republican?

Why have the cannibals continued a war on women? I mean, their only eating men out there! Why the discrimination!? There has to be women out there worth chewing on also, there seems to be such a double standard in the cannibal community out there in the burgs’ and cities. And don’t even go there, they were obviously breast fed.

Are they eating men out of desperation, or just ’cause they’re board, because they have no job? The last thing you want on your hands is a board cannibal, really their teeth will hurt your fingers and thumbs.

I wonder if they were laid off because of Bain Capital,  or the Obama economy?  I think there is many different questions that need answered on this issue, I mean, I wonder where they stand on contraceptives, should the government pay for them, or should individual cannibals be responsible for them? Or are they against them altogether? I mean, if a baby is not born, that’s one less person to eat when they grow up.

What about where they stand on legalizing marijuana?  For, or against? I kinda hope the cannibals would be against legalizing marijuana, I mean have you thought of the dire consequences of a cannibal with a bad case of the munchies? No, I don’t think you have.

What about illegal immigration?  Where do you think the cannibals would stand on this issue? I tend to lean towards them being for it. After all, the more people, the more food! I think they probably like a little diversity in their menu, I mean I can only eat chicken so many times before I get board of it, it must be the same for cannibals, you can only baste walla walla bing bon’s arm in A1 sauce so many times, until it would just drive you over the edge.

What is the etiquette if you and your cannibal friend are out for a night on the town and you want to grab a bite to eat? Are you responsible for finding a suitable meal, and clubbing him to death for a warm feast, or does that duty befall on your cannibal friend?

Maybe the cannibals could apply for government jobs, after all the government already has a monopoly on blood suckers, why not get some meat eaters aboard also.

Not only that, if we had more cannibals around we could slow global warming and save the animals, which would make environmentalist’s and P.E.T.A. happy.

And where do the cannibals stand on same-sex marriage? They may be against that, seeing as how they’ve only been eating men. That would be a huge hazard for one of the male partners, at some point.

After much thought, I believe the cannibals are Democrats and will probably vote for Obama. They probably see him as their Kenyon brother that eats dogs.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood today commended Ohio Governor John Kasich for signing a new law that prohibits text messaging while driving.
“I commend Governor Kasich and the Ohio legislature for taking an important stand against the dangers of texting while driving today,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. “While this new law will help keep all drivers safe, we are especially encouraged by its focus on young drivers, who are more likely to engage in distracted driving.”
Ohio becomes the 39th state to prohibit texting behind the wheel by all drivers. The law takes effect 90 days after signing and warnings will be issued to offenders for the first six months. After that period, texting will become a secondary offense for adults and a primary offense for those under age 18. Adult violators will face a fine of up to $150. Teens who violate the law will be subjected to a $150 fine and have their license suspended for 60 days. Teens who are repeat offenders will be fined $300 and have their license suspended for a year.
Ohio and 38 other states, the District of Columbia, Guam and the Virgin Islands ban text messaging by all drivers. Ten states, the District of Columbia, Guam and the Virgin Islands prohibit all hand-held cell phone use while driving.
“We are making a difference in the fight against distracted driving through a combination of good laws, tough and consistent enforcement, and extensive public education,” said David Strickland, Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. “Ohio is sending a strong message that it wants its young drivers to be distraction free.”
In 2009, Secretary LaHood launched a national anti-distracted driving campaign to combat the growing trend of dangerous distracted driving behavior in America. To help further raise awareness, the U.S. DOT also launched Distraction.gov, a dedicated website that provides the public with a comprehensive source of information on distracted driving.
The Department has also hosted two national summits devoted to the issue, crafted sample legislation, which states can use to adopt distracted driving laws, issued several rulemakings banning texting while operating commercial vehicles and limiting the use of handheld cell phones, and initiated pilot law enforcement programs in Hartford, CT, and Syracuse, NY, modeled after the Department’s successful efforts to increase seatbelt use and curb drunk driving. Ohio, became the 39th State to write and pass legislation to make it illegal to text while driving today with Gov. John Kasich’s signing ceremony. As dangerous as texting and driving may be, what many fail to see, is that many states already have laws on the books to cover these actions. The law is usually called driving while distracted. This law is a primary offense, which means you can be pulled over for only being caught breaking it. It is not secondary, which means the cops would first need to pull you over for something else, ie. speeding, and then slap you with a ticket for driving while distracted.

This is nothing more than political smoke and mirrors. It’s a feel good bill. If driving while distracted already makes it illegal to drive while reading, drive while eating, drive while putting makeup on, drive while arguing with passengers, and etc. etc. Why the sudden need for the bill? Nothing more that PC political correctness run amok and political self-preservation. That is the sad truth of this issue. Politicians take something that the media has blown up into a huge social issue, and then get to work passing laws!  You know, to look busy, for the constituents. They stand up on their soap boxes and pound their chest and shout, “it’s a crisis” and “young people are dying!” “We must do something!” “We need to pass a bill banning this action!”.  All the while, there already exists a law that cops can already use to perform a traffic stop, driving while distracted. WE ARE BEING SCAMMED by WEASEL POLITICIANS! How much money do you think these states have spent writing, voting on, performing demographics and traffic studies, just to pass REDUNDANT legislation? I would venture to say it’s in the millions of dollars. There really is nothing more deceiving than pretending to stand up for the people and convincing many into believing they are really “working” for you, the constituent. It’s a fantasy, they’ve concocted in their heads. Now they all will run around congratulating each other by patting one another on the backs and bottoms. And they just keep getting away with the deceptions, because no one will call them on the carpet on it! Its high time someone stood up and called Bu** sh**!

The most egregious part of the bill is this, what about the cops? Does this apply to them also? I have personally witnessed patrol officers scrolling on their laptops, typing and reading while driving, actually texting on their phone,  can any one say hypocrite?

Lord Help Us. They’re just gonna keep finding social / political reasons to legislate idiocy and we are the guinea pigs!

4:48 Minutes, That Will Change You Forever

Fifth-grader Matt Woodrum hangs out with his friends. His you tube video of him running the 400 meter race has went viral, he has cerebral palsy.

Remember the name Matt Woodrum; the next time the Devil has you down and tells you “you can’t do it!” Matt is a fifth-grader at a school in the school district that my wife and I live in, Worthington City Schools. He attends Worthington Colonial Elementary School, in Worthington, Ohio. This child shows a level of strength and courage, almost un-matched in this age. Even with his disability, he resolved that he was going to compete in the recent field day at the school. He was offered a place on the sideline, he simply said, “no”. He not only said, “no”, he said, “I’m competing in the 400 meter race.” From that point on, he was not turning back, no retreat, no surrender! Matt struggles with every step, but with every step he seems to dig even deeper and becomes even more determined to finish.

The song that was picked to accompany the video is spot on “Eye of the Tiger” of Rocky fame. As Matt is competing and falling behind, his classmates begin to appear (what seems like from everywhere) and begin to cheer him on, and then begin to gather around him, flanking him off the left and right to run alongside their friend.
Matt’s gym teacher, John Blain, said

His run wasn’t about crossing the finish line. Rather, the important thing is that Matt chose to run when he didn’t have to, knowing that it wouldn’t be easy.“ Our society has gotten away from that, but these kids loved the way he played that race,” Blaine said. “It was a great victory because he ran it with honor.”

 You can see from watching the video, Matt and his gym teacher have a great relationship. He runs with Matt to encourage him.

This story has garnered national and worldwide acclaim. The school has received notes from Hong Kong Croatia, and when principal Henk DeRee turned on his tv, there the school and Matt was, on NBC’S The Today Show.

What’s the difference from this method, or China’s operation of a delivery room with a bucket of water on the floor, so if the woman has a girl they can put the infant into the bucket to drown her?

In my mind, there is no difference, none.

More Breast Feeding Pics, Really?

Got Milk?

No, I don’t feel comfortable posting the picture of these two military moms in what appears to be an “impromptu” picture taken in their military uniforms. I find it to be distasteful. So I chose this cute kitten.

First we had the “Republican war on women” so-called. Then we had the counter to that fake war, the cover of time magazine with what seemed to be a “teenager” breast feeding on a stool. And this picture was on a grocery store news stand periodical, Time Magazine. Elizabeth Warren (D) candidate for US Senate from Mass. now claims she was the first nursing mother that took the Bar exam in New Jersey. (Elizabeth Warren of 1/32 Cherokee fame) And now two military moms in a “breast feeding” promotional picture that is more softcore porn than a celebration of breast feeding. I understand a kids gotta eat, but don’t they make pumps and bottles anymore?

Stop the world, I need off for a while. Geesh!

TSA – Decides to Stop Groping Granny

Read; then let this seer into your mind for a while.

The year was 1692, the place was Salem Village, Massachusetts. At the zenith of the Witch Trials in our country, people were scared to death of their neighbors for fear that they would be accused of being a witch. They were terrified they would be arrested, tried, convicted of being a witch and then subsequently hanged. A great commotion was started by a group of little girls and their accusations against a slave woman named, Tituba. The little girls were exhibiting strange behavior, convulsions and the doctor of the village could see no natural cause for the affliction. The girls of Salem Village, had to be under the spell of a witch or worse yet, witches.

You! You are GUILTY!!!

I have given you a synopsis of the story of the witch trials because something amazing and wonderful happened out of those terrible trials. A shift happened. A shift of the burden of proof needed to convict someone beyond a reasonable doubt. History tells us, that when accused of a crime, the law said that the burden of proof was on the accused. However, at the end of the witch trials this was transferred to the prosecution. This is to say that at one point, if accused, you would have to prove that you were innocent of the indictment, that was your burden. After the trials, if you were accused of a crime, those who indicted you, had to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you were guilty of the charges. Now it was their burden. No more were you presumed guilty until you proved your innocence, you were presumed innocent until the State proved you were guilty. This premise is what our system is built on, it impacts the writ of habeas corpus and the right to a fair and speedy trial.

Now ask yourself, are you guilty, or is there probable cause to search you for entering a certain area in an airport? Who has the right to search your ‘person’ for merely being in an area of a building. What’s even worse, you are not only searched, now you are “seen” naked through the airport scanners or felt up by some TSA pervert. You might think that is rough but I was raised being told that no one had the right to touch my body, unless I give it to them. The government, using the TSA, Homeland Security, and the Patriot act has turned 320 years of legal precedent on its ear. They have groped granny, pulled out colostomy bags, humiliated cancer patients, touched children in inappropriate places, imagine if a parent done to their child what the TSA now calls a duty, the parent who touched their child would be jailed for gross sexual imposition of a minor! It is disgusting how we are being treated for merely wanting to take part in the convenience of flying on an airplane from one place to another. All because 19 Saudi Arabian radical Islamists decided to use jet airplanes full of fuel as weapons against our countrymen. So now we endure the death of the 4th amendment, as we “disrobe” through the airport scanner, take our shoes and belts off, carry “approved fluids” in “approved bottles” using “approved methods”. It is MADNESS!

We should all wear it as a badge of honor! We will NOT comply!

The good news is we are slowly rolling back their power by our protest and righteous indignation. The spokesperson for the TSA, David Castelveter, has recently released news that the TSA has rethought their stance on strip searching granny and grandpappy, they’re going to relax restrictions on all air travelers over the age of 75. Any one want to join me in a sarcastic “thank you, TSA!?”. Imagine, the government telling you, we’re going to “slow up” on trampling your Constitutional rights. People everywhere should be outraged! They’re going to stop doing something that they should have never done in the first place, no more groping granny! Well it’s about time pervs!

Now how about keeping your hands off the rest of us!

Kirk Cameron’s Monumental Movie Project

Super Powers have risen and fallen. History has shown all nations go through times that are good and bad. The nations who were able to correct their course before they went off a cliff are far and few between. In order to restore any nation you have to diagnose when or where that nation started to “go off the tracks”. Kirk Cameron, father of 6 children and outspoken Christian has been working on a documentary project called “Monumental”. In the documentary he traces Americas roots all the way back to our beginnings. Not 1776, but hundreds of years earlier, into other nations, to our origins where the dream of America started.

I love the movie “Gladiator” with Russell Crowe. I especially love the quote that Ceaser, Marcus Aurelius said to Maximus, “there once was a dream that was Rome, you could only whisper it, anything more and it would vanish.” He was speaking to how fragile the nation was. Many of us who are conservative understand the same about our freedoms. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, freedom is not an inheritance, it has to be worked toward and for. Each generation has to toe the line.

The DVD of “Monumental” can be purchased on the Monumental Movie website. At $15.00, it is a steal, considering it costs (for two) $35.00-45.00 currently to watch a movie in a theatre.

Honor Flight: Ryan’s Story

For those of you not familiar with Honor Flight, let me explain what their mission is all about. Honor Flight helps World War II Veterans fly to the World War II monument in Washington D.C. at no cost to them. They also match Honor Guards with veterans as chaperones, to assure the veterans leave, arrive and enjoy their time at the monument to them, and their brother’s in arms. The Honor Guards volunteer for this duty willingly and at their own expense, it costs them $500.00 to chaperone. Above you will hear about Ryan’s story, he was chosen as a chaperone, his is a very touching and soul-stirring story explaining about his experience while gathering the funds to go and while chaperoning.

Four Year old Girl Gets a Lesson in Fascism at Primary School

Marcella Marino

This is a photo of 4-year-old, Marcella Marino. Last Monday she was told when she went to primary school that she would not be allowed to be in the class photo because her hair-do was distracting and didn’t meet dress code.

Marcella wanted her dad, professional hair stylist, Marcello, to fix her hair up for her classmate photo, so he obliged. Like any 4-year-old girl would be, she was excited that her father was part of her special day with her classmates and she loved her hair bow made from her own hair. There was just one problem, the school she attends said No-Way! When she was told she would be banned from the photo, she was devastated and confused. The British Primary School she attends has a strict dress code. The dress code states about hair bows “that they be of dark colors, Navy Blue, Maroon, and Black.” The school also has banned braids and beads. Of course “blonde” is not an accepted color of a hair bow, so banned she was!

This story is out of England, however, don’t fall for the “well it’s happening somewhere else so it doesn’t affect me” mentality. I am positive that there is plenty of this suppression happening in our own schools. Its 4-year-olds, how strict does a dress code have to be for 4-year-olds? The school believes they are protecting the students from distractions. What’s interesting is, Marcella’s hair style broke all the rules and none of them, its her own hair, and there is no braids or beads involved in its styling.

I wonder what kind of message this little girl is getting from this ordeal?

At the time of the original story, the school had still not responded.

My wife and I were driving around today, and for the first time in a while (since Alan Jackson’s début) we heard an old style “story-teller style” country song by Jake Owen, named “Journey of your life”. We enjoy many types of music, but when we heard this song, we both just stopped in our tracks. It’s one of those songs that make you ponder family, country, and God. It is an uplifting song, something our country needs right now. It’s seems like the right song at the right time, especially on a Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy.

A Mother’s Day Prayer for My Beautiful Wife

My wife and I began our Mother’s day with a devotional in bed, we studied The Gospel of John chapter’s 3 and 4. After visiting my mother this morning, my wife and I went to a nice cozy lunch at a Chinese place. I had been thinking of a way that I could be a blessing to my wife and make this Mother’s day special for her also.  I decided to be creative and write a prayer that she could always remember this Mother’s day by, sort of a way to commemorate her day as the mother of our children.  I gathered the best of paper, a really nice frame, and then I just poured my heart out to God and let the words trickle onto the page.  Above is a picture of the finished product. Here is the prayer I wrote: A Mother’s Day Prayer for My Beautiful Wife, To my loving wife Cynthia.  Father God, on this special day, send your blessings and favor upon my wife.  Always lend your strength to her, and set her feet upon the rock that is your Son Jesus Christ.  Nourish her with your Holy word and teach us to be Godly toward one another. Give her your divine protection O’ God; and seal her with your Holy Spirit for the day of your coming.  Reveal to her each and every day just how much of a blessing she is to me and our children, and how much she is needed by us, help us Father to show our love and appreciation toward her, reveal yourself to her in a true and mighty way, all the days of her life.  When she hurts, cradle her in your strong arms and give her sanctuary; help me to understand her pain , so that I might perfect your love upon her.  Grant me patience, so that when she hurts, I may not add to her suffering, but that I might become a blessing to her in your name.  When she laughs, remind her that you’re there with her; when she cries, give her the comfort of knowing that you’re still there with her, and that you will cry with her.  I ask Lord that you would forgive us our trespasses against you, and deliver us from the hand of the evil one.  Help us to flourish in sound doctrine and increase your kingdom.  Now Father I ask that you sustain us on your path, and remind us that you are more faithful than the sun, for one day it will grow cold and dark, but the light of your Son will shine forever more upon our face.  I pray this prayer in Jesus mighty name; Amen.
