America’s Trojan Horse


Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), Is asking the hard questions of the DHS secretary Janet Napolitano, and he might as well had asked Eric Holder for “Fast and Furious” documents. In our constitutional republic, the main purpose of government is to protect the God-given rights of the citizens it represents. The goal, it seems of Rep. Gohmert was a noble one, to get to the heart of an issue that should concern all Americans across all party lines, did Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano know she gave a visa and a classified security clearance to a known terrorist facilitator and sympathizer, Hani Nour Eldin. Eldin is a member of Egypt’s parliament and a member of Egypt’s Gamaa Islamiya group which is listed as a known terrorist organization. Eldin attended multiple meetings last month at the behest of the president and DHS, some of which were conducted at the White House. Issue number two, did Napolitano know that the DHS advisory council member (appointed by Obama), Mohamed Elibiary, used his security clearance (that Napolitano gave him) to access and download classified documents with his personal computer and shop the information to media outlets?

Napolitano couldn’t really answer any of Gohmert’s questions other than telling him that it was “objectionable” to attack or accuse someone because they are Muslim, (classic liberal response, Gohmert asks hard questions and he is deemed “bigoted” or “racist”) Rep. Gohmert also asked Napolitano if she was aware of the fact that Elibiary was affiliated with a charity here in the states named the Freedom and Justice Foundation. This is important because the name of the now defunct foundation here in America also shared its name with the Freedom and Justice Party in Egypt. The Freedom and Justice Party in Egypt is the legislative arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. The administration has been very open to advice from the “Council on American Islāmic Relations” aka (CAIR) which have been named an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation court case that took place in northern Texas. You will remember, that this is the court case that named all the people responsible for using the giving nature of Americans to secretly fund terrorist activities all around the globe.

If the stonewall tactic looks familiar to you, it should, it worked for Eric Holder at the Fast and Furious hearings. If congress keeps pushing this issue (and it should) I foresee Obama pulling rank and invoking executive privilege once again. As a nation we are in a very precarious era. When agencies have absolutely no congressional oversight, we become a dictatorship or a monarchy by definition. The current administration that promised to be the most transparent, is anything but. It seems Obama “leads” better by fiat rather than inside of a constitutional construct.

As a nation we need to show courage and begin a debate about what role Islam is going to play in our government. Will we cower when liberals attack and call us “bigoted” for asking relevent and important questions? We can not. We must stand courageous in the face of name calling. When we have come to a place in our society where the secretary of DHS is not concerned about men using their personal computers to access classified government information, and known terrorist sympathizers holding meetings in the White House, we are in grave danger. If Janet Napolitano is not going to perform her job as secretary of DHS, why do we have a DHS? We should not cower from the debate simply because it’s politically incorrect to broach these subjects or because of a political agenda. We have already done that, in 1999 when Osama Bin Laden stated that blood would run in the streets of New York city, no one stood against his statement. We also done the same with the Ft. Hood shooter Nidal Hasan, over and over people in the know were reporting to the FBI that he was very anti-American and a possible threat, the FBI did not investigate because they were fearful the investigation would be seen as an “Islāmic witch hunt”. All because of political correctness, thirteen people were shot in cold blood. The man had S.O.A. on his government (Army) business card, S.O.A. meaning Soldier Of Allah. To add insult to injury the government will still not call the acts perpetrated by Hasan a terrorist act, they consider it an incident of “work place violence”. Also, I don’t remember anyone mentioning gun control after Hasan killed thirteen.

We recently seen how political agenda has driven the gun control debate after the tragic shooting spree in Aurora, Colorado. Before the victims were all properly identified news anchors were already blaming those they disagree with politically, pushing accusations on Tea Party members. Guns needed to be outlawed so people would be “safe”. Just a day later, an Afghan police officer opened fire on American contractors killing three. No where did you hear anyone calling for the outlaw of guns in Afghanistan. One shooting spree fits the liberal agenda narrative, and one did not. So one gets the nod for a refreshed attack on the second amendment rights of American people, and one is ignored, because only one story is politically expedient. I bring this up because I want the American people to drive the debate regarding Islam in the government, and not another terrorist attack, God forbid.

The Declaration of Independence

What is this document? Many see an animal skin with a series of words written on it. The words are almost completely faded now, they are, after all 236 years old. Some might say, this document was a letter of divorcement from England penned by the colonial American people. Some men may tell you, this document is a prayer to the Supreme Judge of the world. Some may say, this document was a suicide pact agreed to by 56 men. I submit to you, the declaration is all these things and so, so much more.

This document holds the hopes and dreams of the men whose hearts and minds conceived it and all who have ever existed, freedom. To understand the meaning of the declaration, one must learn of, and know the words of those who submitted it to the world so many years ago. The Declaration represents the American idea, and I would go so far as to say it is sacred. Next to the Holy Bible, the declaration is our most important document.

I am not alone in that estimation. Lets look to some famous Americans who stated what the declaration meant to them and our nation.

John Adams, why is the Declaration of Independence important today?

“I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding generations, as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward, forever more.
You will think me transported with enthusiasm but I am not. — I am well aware of the toil and blood and treasure that it will cost us to maintain this declaration, and support and defend these states. — Yet through all the gloom I can see the rays of ravishing Light and Glory. I can see that the end is more than worth all the means…” (The signer of the Declaration and second president of the United States, writing to his wife, Abigail Adams, at the time of the ratification of the Declaration)

John Quincy Adams, why is the Declaration of Independence important today?

Is it not, that in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior? Abraham Lincoln, why is the Declaration of Independence important today?

“I am filled with deep emotion at finding myself standing here, in this place, where were collected together the wisdom, the patriotism, the devotion to principle, from which sprang the institutions under which we live. You have kindly suggested to me that in my hands is the task of restoring peace to the present distracted condition of the country. I can say in return, Sir, that all the political sentiments I entertain have been drawn, so far as I have been able to draw them, from the sentiments which originated and were given to the world from this hall. President Ronald Reagan, why is the Declaration of Independence important today?

“The signing of the document that day in Independence Hall was miracle enough. Fifty-six men, a little band so unique—we have never seen their like since — pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. Sixteen gave their lives, most gave their fortunes and all of them preserved their sacred honor. What manner of men were they? Certainly they were not an unwashed, revolutionary rebel, nor were they adventurers in a heroic mood. Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists, 11 were merchants and tradesmen, nine were farmers. The pictures in the heading are of mine and my wife’s living room wall. The trinity of documents were a birthday present for me two years ago. These three documents hold a prestigious place in our home, because they hold a prestigious place in our heart. I use them as a reminder of the men who fought for my rights that are given to me starting in the Declaration, being upheld by the Constitution, and guaranteed to me by the Bill of Rights. There is not a day that goes by that I do not marvel a little at at least one of them in the morning before we leave for work.

I love the Declaration, I love the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and this great land! I stand with these men and will fight to preserve all, I reckon there are a great many who will stand now and lets hope forevermore. We are the remnant.

SUNDAY SERMON SERIES – The Fire Within – Jeremiah 20:9


Many of you that have read articles that I’ve written know that I love to study and write about history. In today’s message I want to take us into the past and look at the answers that we can find to the problems our people face today. For a text today, I want us to look at Jeremiah 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak anymore in His name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut upin my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. In order to understand the context, we need to read the whole chapter, feel free to read more.

20 Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the Lord, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things. 2 Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the Lord. 3 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Jeremiah, often referred to as “the weeping prophet”, was mocked and persecuted for preaching God’s word in Israel. He preached against the priests that were in power at that time. He was locked in the stocks for God’s word. Much like John was exiled to the isle of Patmos for the testimony and for the word of God.

It is often spoken today, that Christian folks are supposed to keep their faith to themselves. More specifically, we are told to keep our faith in our churches and out of our government. We need to refute that ideology, it has never worked and it has never ended well. The government, always threatens churches with taking away their 501 (c) (3) status, if they “preach a little to close to home”. Today in America, Christians are being targeted for ridicule, mocking, discounting our view points as, old fashioned, out of touch, dangerous, narrow minded, and hateful. This is propogated mostly by the government’s lap dog, the main stream media. [I think I’ve read about this before, Pilgrims?] I believe our ancestors came here to escape religious persecution. It has certainly become fashionable to be anti-christian. Now, ask yourself how? How has this happened? The government, has hijacked social issues and made them, political issues for personal gain. If it can be sold, it is for sell in Washington D.C. Power, influence, friendship, loyalty, you name it, it’s for sale. All the while, citizens are being sold down the river. So what do we as Christians do? We take them back! The issues are ours, not the government’s to gain power and set policy with. We can get it back. Jesus said: Matthew 23:27 “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.” That’s the verse I think of when I see all the beautiful white architechture and think of how corrupt D.C. is. You may ask, are you talking about civil disobediance? Let me answer that by saying this, if you seen a homeless person would you help them, get them a bite to eat, give them your sandwich? Because that is the church’s charter, from God’s mouth to our ears. In Philidelphia, “the city of brotherly love” it is now illegal to feed the homeless. So yes, civil disobedience is a must. (That does not mean destroying public property or the use of violence)  That is a direct infringement by government on the first amendment of the U.S. Contitution. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” In fact, while were on the subject, what transfers these rights to government? Abdication, plain and simple. We the people have abdicated our God given right to self-govern ourselves and given it to the government. Why does the government have a right to attach a number to your existence? (SS#) Why does the government have the right hold in its bank account your retirment? (SS#) Why does the government have the right to know your health information? (Obamacare) Why does the government think they can rule on what is socially acceptable? (Gay marriage) Why does the government believe they can tell us what to eat? (Soda, Trans-fats) So on and so forth. Because we have abdicated it. We gave it away.

Things that we gave away, we can take back. We must start with God and true repentance. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

We need to begin promoting the idea that it is not the government’s place to take care of citizens cradle to grave! We are Americans, we take care of ourselves.  Jesus said: Matthew 22:21… then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.”  We need to ask God to heal the divisions that this government uses to gain power over us. We need to ask God to raise up the church back to its rightful station, and return responsibility back to citizens. We have a lot of praying to do. We need, like Jeremiah, to weep for our current state of affairs and ask God to restore us. We need the fire back in our gut! There’s only one way to do that, the same way Jeremiah did, put so many Godly things into you that there’s no way you can keep your mouth shut about Him. Jeremiah said God’s word was like a fire shut up in his bones! We need that today, to share Jesus, unafraid, with authority and power! To tell and show people that God loves them, and He wants to do great and mighty things in their lives! We need to be on fire for God! If we fall, it will be due to Bible illiteracy. American newspaper publisher and abolisionist, Horace Greely (1811-1872) said:“It is impossible to enslave, mentally or socially, a bible-reading people. The principles of the bible are the groundwork of human freedom.” The founder of the Methodist church, John Wesley (1703-1791) said: “Catch on fire and others will love to come and watch you burn”! He also said “Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin, and desire nothing but God, and I care not a straw whether they be clergymen or laymen; such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on Earth.” You notice that he said laymen also. Never let’em tell you your just one person, you can’t turn this country around. That’s a lie straight from the pit of hell! God vested in Jesus the salvation of the whole world. To you small groups, the church started with eleven men in the upper room, so don’t let’em tell you that you can’t turn things around. It’s time for revival in the land. Tonight, when you lay down to sleep, say a prayer for our nation and its people, and ask God to set your heart and your mind on fire for Him, ask that you are filled with a new spirit that would drive you to win the lost, share Jesus, and restore the land.

If you don’t know Christ, today is your appointed day to meet him and accept his free gift of salvation. Pilate said, “what shall I do with this Jesus?” Ask yourself today, what should I do with this Jesus, accept or deny? Pilate denied him, and washed his hands of him, what will you do?

Glenn Beck’s Restoring Love – Dallas, Texas – July 28th 2012


Glenn Beck has recently announced that he has chosen a theme song for Restoring Love in Dallas TX on July 28th 2012. The song is named “Hold us together” by Matt Maher. It is an uplifting song with very poignant lyrics. My wife and I initially had signed up for tickets to this event, however the economy is too slow for us to be able to make it there. We had spot number 667 in line for pre-buy tickets. We were able to attend Restoring Honor in Washington D.C. on August 28th, 2010 (which happened to be our 3rd year anniversary since the day we met). Below are some pictures of that event. SUNDAY SERMON SERIES – Fathers – Proverbs 22:28

In our “modern” and “educated” epoch, the father, in the institution of the family has been relegated to the dust bin of history. Dads today are made out to be uneducated dopes that don’t know anything and do not have any business raising children, or being in their charge, and they certainly should not be respected by their children. Pop culture, Hollywood, and Tv shows [the world] have all propagated this opinion of our fathers. So, now father doesn’t know best any longer, because we have “progressed” past structure, rules, honor, integrity, honesty, and the importance of recognizing the traditional family. The nuclear family. Dad, Mom, and 2.5 children. Our fathers are portrayed as character’s like Al Bundy, of Married With Children fame. Or, Homer Simpson, from the Simpsons. Radical feminists that write story lines for television, write the father as some subordinate idiot that, if he wasn’t married to a woman, he wouldn’t be able to make it out of bed in the morning. It’s all very exhausting to watch.

Let’s look at some verses from the Bible that we can apply in our lives to help restore the position of our dads in the family.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Authorized King James Version 1611

Our first station in life, is to be teachers to our children. Not just of things like reading, writing, math, and social issues but spiritual things first and foremost. After those things, we should teach our children a trade of some kind or something that can be used to make our children self-supporting. Jesus was taught the trade craft of carpentry. Lets ponder that for a minute. Working day in and day out with wood and nails, the same objects would be used to kill him when he was 33 years old. In Jewish tradition it is imperative that a father teach his son something useful and profitable so he can support his family. A father is to be the head of his home, a strong leader, and the spiritual leader of the house. He is to teach his children of God, and Godly things like love, morality, law, self reliance, humility, selflessness, honor, conviction, thrift, sacrifice, honesty, courage, integrity and ethics. Imagine if we could just teach children the sermon on the mount and really drive it home with them so they understood all the tenets that Christ taught, think of how our country would almost on its own, fix a lot of our problems with very little effort. If we just teach our children the truth again our nation would begin to heal. If we would teach our children take from no man anything, and if a man asks you for your shirt, give him your cloak, and if a man compels you to walk a mile with him, go twain. Our nation would transform practically overnight, for the better. If we could just get those 48 verses of Matthew chapter 5 driven deeply into the hearts of our posterity, grades would go up, crime would go down, bullying would subside, the family would begin to revive.

We are commanded to discipline our children. If we do not the Bible goes so far as to say we hate our child. Look at how we have been handcuffed in our country regarding the discipline of our children. Now, parents have been so shackled down that they are even to afraid to correct little Johnny or Suzie for fear of hurting their egos, let alone the threats from children that they will call child services, it’s laughable! Our children have been empowered by the government to report discipline that their parents administer. Our children run the households, not parents. I am not advocating child abuse. But, I do advocate corporal punishment, it worked for thousands of years, until Dr. Spock arrived on the scene! I was whipped as a child, and deserved every one I ever got, multiplied by ten, believe me! My ego isn’t bruised, I’m ok, I’m still a productive member of society. You can take a trip down to your local Wal-Mart or grocery store, and see that the responsibility of disciplining our children has waned quite a bit. Some of the things you witness in these stores would have gotten the last generation slapped into next week.

As fathers, we must love our children as God loves us. Completely, sacrificial, wholly. But, greater than this, we must teach them of their first love. Jesus.

Romans 5:8 But God comendeth his love toward us, that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
This is the most important thing to pass on to our children. Christ. Charles Dickens the literary giant, wrote a book for his children from the years of 1846-1849 entitled The Life of Our Lord. If Dickens was alive, I beg to offer that he would say this book was his most important. He was writing this book while he was working on David Copperfield. The manuscript was not published until 1933 after his last child had died. It had been handed down as a family treasure. Dickens had asked that the manuscript would not be published while any child of his was still alive. In 1934 Simon and Schuster published it in America, It was one of the top books of the era. We need to, like Dickens, teach our children of Jesus, who, when we were so far from him, he came to us, and spanned the gulf of eternity that we could not, miraculously interjecting himself into history and died a sinner’s death on the tree. This one who made the lame walk, and the dumb talk. The one who raised Lazarus from the grave. The one who washed his disciples feet.

The verse I began with has special meaning for me. The word landmark normally means something solid, like a statue, or a rock, a memorial stone. I want you to see it in a different light today. I once heard a preacher say, a man had lost his father, he had passed away. The man, for the first few days, had felt deep loss, but, as time had passed; the man likened the loss of his father to living next to a giant mountain, and waking up one morning, and the mountain was gone when he looked for it. I can relate to how the man felt. Our fathers, often times mean more to us than we even know, but after they’re gone and they’ve broken through the shroud that is death, our memories of them have a way of haunting us. Like when you check your feet because of diabetes, and you remember, that the doctor’s had to amputate four of your dad’s toes and a bone in his foot, because of the same affliction. Or, you remember that fateful telephone call that you got, when the person on the other end of the line has the worst of news to share. You remember the lump in your throat and the sick feeling you had in your stomach when your ex-father in law tells you on that call, “son, somethings happened to your Dad, they think he had a heart attack. He is laying in the middle of his living room floor and the ambulance is on its way.” “I’ll keep you posted, but you may want to leave work and get down here.” The mountain in my life, is no longer outside my window, he passed away on September 21st, 2007 of a massive heart attack, minutes before the call I received. The day was both, the most terrible and the greatest day, all wrapped up in one. Even though I had lost, he had gained. In 2005, the Sunday after Easter, my Dad answered an altar call at the little country church I was a Deacon at. Many gathered around to pray with him, but I was especially grateful to God that I was able to kneel next him at that old altar made of stained two by fours, at the foot of the cross, at the age 59; God made him brand new again! Washed him of all his sins, and gave him a new life. I couldn’t help to think, my witness, drew him to Christ, it should have been the other way around. He was my mentor, my friend, my father.

Obama’s Sycophant, Paul Krugman

A sycophant is a person who tries to gain attention by flattering wealthy or influential people.

A self-serving flatterer, a person who fawns over another.

An example of a sycophant is someone who agrees with everything his boss says and who brings his boss gifts once a month.

Paul Krugman, must have received his Nobel Prize the same way Obama did, by doing absolutely nothing of merit. I understand politics and political motivations, however, Krugmans latest statement is a little more over the top than usual. (Trying to cover Obama’s Tail on Solyndra and the like). The reason our nation is hurtling toward DEBT-MAGEDDON is Obama subscribes to this keynesian economic model that Krugman and so many other leftists follow. Simply put, keynesian economics calls for massive amounts of spending to jumpstart faltering job markets and the overall market. The theory is, if the economy slows down (recession = two or more quarters of negative growth in GDP) you spend more money to drive the economy back up, making the pie larger in a sense. The problem in the theory, among many, is in alignment with the words of Margaret Thatcher, she said, “the only problem with socialism is, eventually you run out of other people’s money”. We have not a dime to spend to bolster or boost our economy, in fact as I have written about many times in the past with unfunded liabilities and the national debt combined we are -70 to -100 Trillion dollars in debt. Our nations economic issues are due to people like Krugman speaking glowingly regarding this ideology. Krugman comes out and says “this is ridiculous, we’re talking like a billion dollars is a lot of money or something.” YES Paul! A billion dollars is still a lot of money! I can deny gravity all day long, but, if I deny it under the wrong circumstances, gravity will kill me. It’s like they live in an alternate universe where sound fiscal policy doesn’t even exist. We are well past the point of no return im afraid, concerning our debt problem. I would liken their spending to that of drunken sailors, but I don’t want to offend the sailors.  Our great great great grand children will still be paying on this millstone around our neck, if we are still a nation when their alive. No nation in the history of the world has ran up debt like we have and survived to tell about it. Europe is ready to shake apart and kill the Euro Zone and the currency. Almost every developed nation on the planet is running massive debts. There are a lot of markets already hinting that a sharp decline is in the near future. And the economic terrorist himself, George Soros, has now signaled that the Euro has 3 months tops before it collapses. Think of the ramifications of that for a moment.

Paul Krugman, history will judge you as an ignorant wretch who professed himself to be wise, while all along you were singing the propagandist song for Obama while he fiddled as America burned. May history forget that you were ever called my countryman.
