With an initial public offering of $38.00 a share, a high of $45.25 a share, and a low of $18.75 per share, Facebook’s stock has been as rocky as a soap opera love affair. Today’s trading shows the current price per share is $18.96. However, with this slide, comes the calls for the company’s CEO and majority stock holder Mark Zuckerberg to step down. For some, it’s rather easy to gloat in the downturn of those who they perceive to be “well off” or “rich”. I however marvel in the fact that someone can take what seems to be a simple idea (sharing pictures, ideas, lives), apply the idea to a system that’s already invented (computer, internet), and turn it into a multi-billion dollar company. Many of you that have read articles that I’ve written know that I love to study and write about history. In today’s message I want to take us into the past and look at the answers that we can find to the problems our people face today. For a text today, I want us to look at Jeremiah 20:9Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak anymore in His name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut upin my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. Jeremiah, often referred to as “the weeping prophet”, was mocked and persecuted for preaching God’s word in Israel. He preached against the priests that were in power at that time. He was locked in the stocks for God’s word. Much like John was exiled to the isle of Patmos for the testimony and for the word of God.
It is often spoken today, that Christian folks are supposed to keep their faith to themselves. More specifically, we are told to keep our faith in our churches and out of our government. We need to refute that ideology, it has never worked and it has never ended well. The government, always threatens churches with taking away their 501 (c) (3) status, if they “preach a little to close to home”. Today in America, Christians are being targeted for ridicule, mocking, discounting our view points as, old fashioned, out of touch, dangerous, narrow minded, and hateful. This is propogated mostly by the government’s lap dog, the main stream media. [I think I’ve read about this before, Pilgrims?] I believe our ancestors came here to escape religious persecution. It has certainly become fashionable to be anti-christian. Now, ask yourself how? How has this happened? The government, has hijacked social issues and made them, political issues for personal gain. If it can be sold, it is for sell in Washington D.C. Power, influence, friendship, loyalty, you name it, it’s for sale. All the while, citizens are being sold down the river. So what do we as Christians do? We take them back! The issues are ours, not the government’s to gain power and set policy with. We can get it back. Jesus said: Matthew 23:27 “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.” That’s the verse I think of when I see all the beautiful white architechture and think of how corrupt D.C. is. You may ask, are you talking about civil disobediance? Let me answer that by saying this, if you seen a homeless person would you help them, get them a bite to eat, give them your sandwich? Because that is the church’s charter, from God’s mouth to our ears. In Philidelphia, “the city of brotherly love” it is now illegal to feed the homeless. So yes, civil disobedience is a must. (That does not mean destroying public property or the use of violence) That is a direct infringement by government on the first amendment of the U.S. Contitution. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” In fact, while were on the subject, what transfers these rights to government? Abdication, plain and simple. We the people have abdicated our God given right to self-govern ourselves and given it to the government. Why does the government have a right to attach a number to your existence? (SS#) Why does the government have the right hold in its bank account your retirment? (SS#) Why does the government have the right to know your health information? (Obamacare) Why does the government think they can rule on what is socially acceptable? (Gay marriage) Why does the government believe they can tell us what to eat? (Soda, Trans-fats) So on and so forth. Because we have abdicated it. We gave it away.
Things that we gave away, we can take back. We must start with God and true repentance. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
We need to begin promoting the idea that it is not the government’s place to take care of citizens cradle to grave! We are Americans, we take care of ourselves. Jesus said: Matthew 22:21… then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.” We need to ask God to heal the divisions that this government uses to gain power over us. We need to ask God to raise up the church back to its rightful station, and return responsibility back to citizens. We have a lot of praying to do. We need, like Jeremiah, to weep for our current state of affairs and ask God to restore us. We need the fire back in our gut! There’s only one way to do that, the same way Jeremiah did, put so many Godly things into you that there’s no way you can keep your mouth shut about Him. Jeremiah said God’s word was like a fire shut up in his bones! We need that today, to share Jesus, unafraid, with authority and power! To tell and show people that God loves them, and He wants to do great and mighty things in their lives! We need to be on fire for God! If we fall, it will be due to Bible illiteracy. American newspaper publisher and abolisionist, Horace Greely (1811-1872) said:“It is impossible to enslave, mentally or socially, a bible-reading people. The principles of the bible are the groundwork of human freedom.” The founder of the Methodist church, John Wesley (1703-1791) said: “Catch on fire and others will love to come and watch you burn”! He also said “Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin, and desire nothing but God, and I care not a straw whether they be clergymen or laymen; such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on Earth.” You notice that he said laymen also. Never let’em tell you your just one person, you can’t turn this country around. That’s a lie straight from the pit of hell! God vested in Jesus the salvation of the whole world. To you small groups, the church started with eleven men in the upper room, so don’t let’em tell you that you can’t turn things around. It’s time for revival in the land. Tonight, when you lay down to sleep, say a prayer for our nation and its people, and ask God to set your heart and your mind on fire for Him, ask that you are filled with a new spirit that would drive you to win the lost, share Jesus, and restore the land.
If you don’t know Christ, today is your appointed day to meet him and accept his free gift of salvation. Pilate said, “what shall I do with this Jesus?” Ask yourself today, what should I do with this Jesus, accept or deny? Pilate denied him, and washed his hands of him, what will you do?

It is an uplifting song with very poignant lyrics. My wife and I initially had signed up for tickets to this event, however the economy is too slow for us to be able to make it there. We had spot number 667 in line for pre-buy tickets. What would you say if I told you, a tiny, little, explosive secret existed in Wisconsin? Nothing more than a whisper and it was a known secret among some media types, but, almost everyone in the state and national media, ignores the little known secret. They ignore it, because it is a very damning secret that is absolutely true and can be verified, the Public Union (ASFCME) membership in Wisconsin has dropped 54% over the last year. 54% over the last year, I’ll say it again. After Gov. Scott Walkers new collective bargaining law went into effect, people have defected the public union. A part of the law that was passed, stopped forced union dues. After the people had the choice whether to continue paying dues and be a union member, or continue paying and being a member, the majority of them quit the union and its confiscatory dues. This news broke locally in Wisconsin three full days ago. This is a terrible blow to the Democratic money laundering machine! And with fewer members, that translates to less cash to spend on Obama’s Hope and Change campaign, oops, I’m sorry, he’s already sold that sham once, no money for Forward. It is a national disgrace that the media has largely ignored this story. I think most would agree with me, this is important news.
Can you imagine if this information was detrimental to Conservatives or Republicans? You couldn’t have fit another reporter into the state of Wisconsin without blowing out its southern border. Wisconsin would have been crawling with press, just licking their chops, waiting to take a bite out of a Conservative.
As we all know, the press only exists on the internet and a few other outlets. I actually contend, that the Citizen Blogger or the Citizen Journalist is the last line of defense against Government tyranny over the people. I can back up this claim with facts and they are PIPA, SOPA, and CISPA. I submit to you that these pieces of legislation was directed at sites like ours, and wordpress, blospot, and some news websites that act as news aggregate sites, such as Drudge Report, and a few others. After all, Drudge is just a blog with a lot of news links gathered on one site. See, these laws that the Congress tried to pass, would make it illegal to take a link from a website and place it on your site, or use a video like I have done at the top of this article. That’s right, you could have been indicted for sharing a picture on your blog, or sharing a file, or a video if you were not the owner. This would have opened up a huge door for the Federal Government to pick and choose who would have the freedom of speech. So I say God Bless the Citizen Journalist. Keep pushing back!
There is a massive shift in public opinion in where people consume their news. There is a lot of people who are just shutting off the evening news and following blogs run by fellow citizens, people trust their neighbors more than the CBS evening news. Cnn’s ratings have hit a 20 year slump for two months in a row now, and subscribership is way down for newspapers in our country. Why do you suppose that is? I contend it’s because people are sick and tired of being lied to! People are sick and tired of watching a president that seems more like a foreign dictator, that hates our country and runs around apologizing for us, when we’re unapologetic by the way. The citizenry is fed up! Fed up with big government that begets more government.
Tonight is a momentous evening. Gov. Scott Walker is getting ready to spank Tom Berrett in his recall election by maybe as much as 17-20 percentage points, which is much like Reagan pouring that 55 gallon drum of Whupp Ass on Jimmy Carter and carrying 44 of 50 states in ’80. Walker has delivered on the things he campaigned on, fiscal responsibility, he balanced the budget. Leadership, he certainly has been as steadfast as a stone in the face of demonization, and an all out war on him and his brand of conservative politics. He has not wavered! If this man wins, you may have seen the end of public sector unions and it will be considered a referendum on Obama’s sorry leadership!

Target Corporation, based in Minnesota has thrown its hat into the gay ‘marriage’ debate. They have begun selling t-shirts to support a LGBT activist group in their home state to help raise money to combat a gay ‘marriage’ amendment banning the act. Much like amendment 1 that just passed in North Carolina, defining marriage as legal union between one man and one woman, and stating that this would be the only type of marriage that would be recognized in the state of North Carolina.
The t-shirts will raise up to $120,000.00 for the Family Equality Council, of Washington. They will be pumping the money into the initiative that will combat the passage of the constitutional amendment. You may recall Target, just two years ago took a bashing by gay rights groups for donating $150,000 to then Republican candidate for Governor of Minnesota, Tom Emmer.
The spokesperson for Minnesota for Marriage, Chuck Darrell said, “Target is attacking traditional marriage, which is an incredibly misguided thing for them to have done”. There are four different designs available. The t-shirt pictured above was designed by Gwen Steffani, of the once upon a time pop group “No Doubt”. You will note, that on the t-shirt are two things that originate with God, the sign of the rainbow and the word love. The Holy Bible, in Genesis 9:13 states, that God did set his bow in the clouds as a token of the covenant that God made between Him and the Earth, that He would not destroy it again with a flood. The Bible also says that God is love in 1st John 4:8 He that loveth not,knoweth not God; for God is love.
So if were to understand this correctly. Two years ago it was politically incorrect to give $150,000 to a pro business Republican candidate. But two years later it’s perfectly ok to have the same retailer sell your t-shirts to support your sociopolitical cause?
This has the “Rev.” Jesse Jackson written all over it. Even if he had nothing to do with it. It looks like Jackson because this is how his organisation Rainbow Push works. Threaten a picket, boycott or a public media smear campaign, and then when they buckle and give in, now you make them accept and support your initiatives.
I have never been one for boycotts. But, what I am for is a calm quiet vote with our dollars. You see, Ronald Reagan said it best, “If you don’t like the policies where you are, you can vote with your feet”. What he meant was if your state is screwed up, you can move to a better one. If you’re a frequent Target shopper, you have the choice to vote with your dollar. If this move by Target against over 5000 years of God sanctioned marriage between a man and a woman upsets you, you can decide to put your money into a store that does agree with your values and principles.
Now for those who would find fault with this article, and be angered that I would write such things. Your anger is misplaced. You are angered with a Holy God, not me. This is America, you have every right to your opinion, just as I do mine and I welcome your comments.
Paul Krugman, must have received his Nobel Prize the same way Obama did, by doing absolutely nothing of merit. I understand politics and political motivations, however, Krugmans latest statement is a little more over the top than usual. (Trying to cover Obama’s Tail on Solyndra and the like). The reason our nation is hurtling toward DEBT-MAGEDDON is Obama subscribes to this keynesian economic model that Krugman and so many other leftists follow. Simply put, keynesian economics calls for massive amounts of spending to jumpstart faltering job markets and the overall market. The theory is, if the economy slows down (recession = two or more quarters of negative growth in GDP) you spend more money to drive the economy back up, making the pie larger in a sense. The problem in the theory, among many, is in alignment with the words of Margaret Thatcher, she said, “the only problem with socialism is, eventually you run out of other people’s money”. We have not a dime to spend to bolster or boost our economy, in fact as I have written about many times in the past with unfunded liabilities and the national debt combined we are -70 to -100 Trillion dollars in debt. Our nations economic issues are due to people like Krugman speaking glowingly regarding this ideology. Krugman comes out and says “this is ridiculous, we’re talking like a billion dollars is a lot of money or something.” YES Paul! A billion dollars is still a lot of money! I can deny gravity all day long, but, if I deny it under the wrong circumstances, gravity will kill me. It’s like they live in an alternate universe where sound fiscal policy doesn’t even exist. We are well past the point of no return im afraid, concerning our debt problem. I would liken their spending to that of drunken sailors, but I don’t want to offend the sailors. Our great great great grand children will still be paying on this millstone around our neck, if we are still a nation when their alive. No nation in the history of the world has ran up debt like we have and survived to tell about it. Europe is ready to shake apart and kill the Euro Zone and the currency. Almost every developed nation on the planet is running massive debts. There are a lot of markets already hinting that a sharp decline is in the near future. And the economic terrorist himself, George Soros, has now signaled that the Euro has 3 months tops before it collapses. Think of the ramifications of that for a moment.
Paul Krugman, history will judge you as an ignorant wretch who professed himself to be wise, while all along you were singing the propagandist song for Obama while he fiddled as America burned. May history forget that you were ever called my countryman.
One day, you take your family to the grocery store to order a decorated birthday cake for your youngest son. There’s just one problem, they refuse to decorate the cake for you. Not because you don’t have the money for it. Not because they ran out of icing or cake. But, because they refuse to write your son’s name on the cake, his name, Adolph Hitler Campbell. After the story of this incident broke in the local news papers, child protective services showed up on the doorstep of the Campbell’s, ultimately, child services took all four of their children into custody. Three of their four children are named after Nazi figures or terminology. This happened in New Jersey in 2009.
Fast forward to present day. There was a hearing in Superior Court to decide if the children should be held in State custody or be returned to their parents. Superior Court Judge Robert Reed ruled that the children should continue to be detained in the states care. A decision Adolph’s father strongly disagreed with saying it was based purely on the names of his children rather than the couple’s ability to serve as parents.
“These kids weren’t abused. Our kids weren’t taken because of abuse,” Campbell said. “I’m honest about who I am and what I am.” He further added “If I have to give up my Nazism, then so be it. I’ll do it,” he said. The children are “more my heart and soul and everything than anything.”
The Campbell’s are reported to have separated. An interesting interconnected note is that the Nazi Party recently filed the paper work in Washington D.C. to have their own lobbyist to the Congress of the United States in April, 2012, and were permitted to do so.
Here is one thing to consider. In America we have a constitutional right to the freedom of association, no matter what the social astigmatism is. We are protected from persecution by the government for being associated with any political ideology. If someone wants to follow communist ideology, in America they are free to do so, even though I strongly disagree with their decision in that choice, I support their right to subscribe to communism. Because I support the U.S. Constitution. We have a right to free and open debate.
I do not like anything that promotes Nazism, I find their actions both past and present, to be detestable. However, I don’t support an over reaching all-powerful government bureaucracy whether Federal, State, or Local in nature.
Here is another point of view to ponder.
Muhammad is a very popular name in the world right now, and many young boys are being named Muhammad currently.
In AD 627, Muhammad committed an atrocity against the last remaining major tribe of Jews in Medina: the Qurayza. Muhammad beheaded or had beheaded 750 Jews, adults and prepubescent males, and gathered all the women together as slaves. Muhammad, also had taken to himself a wife, a young girl of the age of around 9. He was middle-aged at the time of their wedding. The Hadith chronicles the story of Muhammad marrying the 9 year old girl of his friend,the girl was named Aisha. The Southern Baptists had gotten into some hot water over referring to Muhammad as a “Demon Possessed Pedophile” in 2002.
If Muhammad hated the Jews, and killed them. And Adolph hated the Jews, and killed them. Why is it more politically correct to name children Muhammad than Adolph. Is it in our psyche as a nation to abhor the name Adolph, because his atrocities were more recent, and closer to the surface of our knowledge than that of Muhammad’s atrocities? I would say that is part of it. However, consider this point of view, or are we so afraid of being politically incorrect to tell the truth about both men, because Islam calls one of them a prophet? Are we to afraid to criticise one because he is a so-called “religious” figure? And, equally, are we so easy to criticise the other one because its socially acceptable to do so?
In America, does the government have the right to take children into custody, because of their name? Where no credible evidence of abuse can be determined beyond a reasonable doubt? Can they break up a family because of your decision to name your children what you seen fit? Should the authorities be investigating Islamic families that are naming their boys Muhammad? If the answer is yes, we are in a world of hurt.

The year was 1692, the place was Salem Village, Massachusetts. At the zenith of the Witch Trials in our country, people were scared to death of their neighbors for fear that they would be accused of being a witch. They were terrified they would be arrested, tried, convicted of being a witch and then subsequently hanged. A great commotion was started by a group of little girls and their accusations against a slave woman named, Tituba. The little girls were exhibiting strange behavior, convulsions and the doctor of the village could see no natural cause for the affliction. The girls of Salem Village, had to be under the spell of a witch or worse yet, witches.
You! You are GUILTY!!!
I have given you a synopsis of the story of the witch trials because something amazing and wonderful happened out of those terrible trials. A shift happened. A shift of the burden of proof needed to convict someone beyond a reasonable doubt. History tells us, that when accused of a crime, the law said that the burden of proof was on the accused. However, at the end of the witch trials this was transferred to the prosecution. This is to say that at one point, if accused, you would have to prove that you were innocent of the indictment, that was your burden. After the trials, if you were accused of a crime, those who indicted you, had to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you were guilty of the charges. Now it was their burden. No more were you presumed guilty until you proved your innocence, you were presumed innocent until the State proved you were guilty. This premise is what our system is built on, it impacts the writ of habeas corpus and the right to a fair and speedy trial.
Now ask yourself, are you guilty, or is there probable cause to search you for entering a certain area in an airport? Who has the right to search your ‘person’ for merely being in an area of a building. What’s even worse, you are not only searched, now you are “seen” naked through the airport scanners or felt up by some TSA pervert. You might think that is rough but I was raised being told that no one had the right to touch my body, unless I give it to them. The government, using the TSA, Homeland Security, and the Patriot act has turned 320 years of legal precedent on its ear. They have groped granny, pulled out colostomy bags, humiliated cancer patients, touched children in inappropriate places, imagine if a parent done to their child what the TSA now calls a duty, the parent who touched their child would be jailed for gross sexual imposition of a minor! It is disgusting how we are being treated for merely wanting to take part in the convenience of flying on an airplane from one place to another. All because 19 Saudi Arabian radical Islamists decided to use jet airplanes full of fuel as weapons against our countrymen. So now we endure the death of the 4th amendment, as we “disrobe” through the airport scanner, take our shoes and belts off, carry “approved fluids” in “approved bottles” using “approved methods”. It is MADNESS!
We should all wear it as a badge of honor! We will NOT comply!
The good news is we are slowly rolling back their power by our protest and righteous indignation. The spokesperson for the TSA, David Castelveter, has recently released news that the TSA has rethought their stance on strip searching granny and grandpappy, they’re going to relax restrictions on all air travelers over the age of 75. Any one want to join me in a sarcastic “thank you, TSA!?”. Imagine, the government telling you, we’re going to “slow up” on trampling your Constitutional rights. People everywhere should be outraged! They’re going to stop doing something that they should have never done in the first place, no more groping granny! Well it’s about time pervs!
